~ * ~ What Sites Get Banned And Why ~ * ~
I have a hard time banning sites for whatever reason other than 'viruses' and things like that.
I would like to ban alot of sites for whatever reason but it is not my place to decide where a member chooses to earn and for what reason.
It could be something simple like...I only need 2 cents more and I will have enough in my account to redeem for an ad so that I can finally quit this site that I know I will never get paid at. Then I can chalk it up to experience and quit and move on.
It can be that you are trying to stick it to an owner for them treating you the wrong way.
It can also be that you just do not know any better.
Either way, who you want to advertise is YOUR choice...not mine.
I can only hope that you have done your homework and check a site out before you join and invest money and time.
And yes, that means my sites also. I would hope that you had checked me out before joining.
Now with that being said, with the recent wave of banning of sites, this is what I have decided.
For all of the sites that I own, the following practice will go into effect:
If the site link (PTP or otherwise) contains viruses, anything that downloads, takes to long to load, freezes browsers, or has inappropriate content - it WILL be rejected.
Depending upon the type of ad, you may or may NOT get to replace the ad, so you might want to check it before you submit it.
For all sites that are on other sites banned list for being behind in payments, bad practices, or sneezing wrong I have this Rule:
You CAN promote your purchased Affiliate Page so that you CAN get some of your money back (even if it is to only redeem).
Your reasons for promoting that site are yours and yours alone. You get to make the call. After all, it IS your money you are spending.
You CANNOT promote the PTP links for the sites on the banned list (located at www.cashavenue.net/pages/banned.php) that stipulate NO PTP link.
There are more areas on a PTP promotion page for a PO to make money and I will NOT support that.
I make sure that the banners for sites that are advertised on my sites say the site name, and the emails not only have the name of the site in the email subject, but I also have the revisit link so you can see what link you are clicking on.
It is your choice to click on a link. When clicking, no where does it say that you have to join, all you know is that you will be paid to click it and you are helping another fellow member by clicking that link.
I am sorry if this goes against some other PO's but this is how I feel, and if this gets me on a few banned lists, then I apologize to my members for putting them in this position.
